Ficlet meme -- seen somewhere. I modified it a bit to fit my slightly OCD/perfectionistic tenancies.

The Rules:
1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble/ficlet related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it's over. No lingering afterwards!
4. Do ten of these, then post them.

My modifications-- I lingered a while after. I can't just... stop. It's not how I work. I let the image play out in my mind. But in return for this being off the cuff, I did not do my normal editing, just basics like spelling and grammar. (Anyone that knows my writing construction stages can tell you that it's a REALLY BIG DEAL for me to let something out and seen without anywhere from 3-15+ drafts/edits.)

Sometimes it's okay to pimp yourself out. Post a list of your top five fics favorite you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.



Good lord it was hard to pick just 5, considering all the stuff I've written. Honestly, all the ones that I end up really liking are much more character-centric than some of my other stuff.



In no particular order:


Untitled Ficlet (CSI:NY - Mac, Danny, Stella; Mac/Danny UST) -- Danny gets himself into a little trouble, much ot the amusement of Mac and Stella.


"50 Sentences" (CSI:NY - Mac; Mac/Jack Abernathy) -- 50 prompted sentences, bits & pieces of the their world that could have been.


"Last Man Standing" (CSI:NY - Mac, OC; implied Mac/Stella, Mac/Danny) -- A outsider's view of Mac after everything's changed.


"Torn" (Eureka - Nathan/Allison; implied Jack/Nathan, Jack/Allison) -- Ali understands why Nathan is so torn between her and Jack, even if he hides it well. (S3 spoilers)


"Like Father, Like Daughter" (Eureka - Jo, Zane, Zoe; Jo/Zane) -- Zane comes to visit Zoe in the infirmary, and Jo eventually joins them. A continuation of the bonding that Zane and Zoe seemed to have in the bunker. (S3 spoilers)

eureka_tag is a challenge com (they are planning on another) that requires participants to write an episode 'tag', somehow directly related to the previous week's episode, whether it is a post-ep piece, missing or alternate scene. It's an interesting concept, and I was able to work well within its limits. Thank you to those of you who helped me with the flailing and editing and everything else. (especially evila_elf, michelleann68, and stellaluna_)
